First Chakra
At the level of the first chakra, both partners take equal responsibilities for financially contributing to their environmentally responsible and sustainable life-style by both being success and fulfillment oriented. Even though there may be times when one partner contributes more than the other, for example, during pregnancy and child rearing, during schooling and other professional training, or during an illness or other hardship, it never becomes a one-way street in the long run or an asymmetrical need or desire.
