Integral Mindfulness Etkinliği
Birçok insan ve ruhani öğretmen, hayvanlarının ve özellikle de kedilerin Aydınlanmış olduğuna dair bir düşünceye sahiptirler. Bu düşünce, hayvanların geçmişe dair acı anıları ve gelecekle ilgili korkuları (veya umutları)nın olmamasından kaynaklanmaktadır. Buna ek olarak hayvanlar, “Şimdi” yi anlık ya da doğrudan bir deneyim olarak deneyimleme olarak adlandırdığımız olguya sahiptirler. Başka bir deyişle, Aydınlanmış gibi görünürler. Böyle görünmelerinin nedeni, Rasyonel-Öncesi / Trans-Rasyonel yanılgı olarak adlandırılan klasik bir hatadandır. Hayvanlar (ve insan bebekleri) Rasyonel-öncesi evredelerdir ve kendilerini çevrelerinden ayırt edemezler. Yani tanım gereği Aydınlanmış olabilecek bir “öz” bulunmamaktadır. Diğer yandan, “düşünen” rasyonel benlik de Aydınlanmış değildir. Sadece insanlar – her ne kadar Trans-Rasyonel durum/aşama ile kendini özdeşleştiren bir ego-benliğe sahip olmasalar da; farkındalığın Trans-Rasyonel durum/aşamasına ulaşıp Aydınlanabilirler.
Katılım ücreti: 50 TL

Integral Mindfulness Event:
Many humans and spiritual teachers have a notion that their animals, especially cats, are Enlightened. This thought stems from the fact that animals have no painful memories of the past and no fears (or hopes) for the future. In addition, animals have what we call experiencing the “Now” as an immediate or direct experience. In other words, they appear to be Enlightened. The reason they look like this is due to a classic mistake called the Pre-Rational/Trans-Rational fallacy. Animals (and human infants) are in the Pre-Rational stage and cannot distinguish themselves from their environment. That is, by definition, there is no “essence” that can be Enlightened. On the other hand, the “thinking” rational self is also not Enlightened. Only humans – although they do not have an ego-self identifying with the Trans-Rational state/stage; they can reach the Trans-Rational state/stage of awareness and become Enlightened.
