Why do I attract people with negative energy and mentally sick people in my relationships in recent years? How can I attract the right partner for a soulmate relationship? Why have I attracted what I’ve attracted so far in my life?
First of all, the fact that we were born and are alive conscious human beings is already a miracle. We are the luckiest and freest people who have ever lived, no matter how unhappy, unfortunate, mistreated, oppressed, manipulated, misunderstood, victimized or miserable we may feel. These feelings are all the result of our egoic mind that compares, desires, clings, hates, rejects, separates, blames, judges, denies, resents, etc. When we perceive, think, feel and act from the negative egoic and wounded (sick) self, we attract the same into our lives, which ultimately leads to pain and suffering for ourselves and others. So the first step is to “want what you have”, instead of “having what we want”, and to be grateful for all the blessings in your already amazing life. This allows you to transcend your Egoic mind and listen to your souls desires to manifest more goodness, truth, beauty, functionality, happiness, joy, health, love, abundance, connection, peace, acceptance, presence, creativity, wisdom etc. into your life. This is nowadays often referred to as “The Law of Attraction ”. The idea was created by 17th and 18th-century philosophers like Decartes and Leibniz who realized that our minds create our reality. Gandhi later put it this way: “Be careful of your thoughts, for your thoughts become your words. Be careful of your words, for your words become your actions. Be careful of your actions, for your actions become your habits.” Today we have the additional insights from Integral Mindfulness studies how our genes, bodies, brains, consciousness, spiritual awareness, cultural conditioning and social environment shape our perception and experience of our reality. So the simple but not easy answer to these questions is, change your mind to change your life.
