In Integral Mindfulness, we not only integrate the meditative achievements from the East with the psychological, neurobiological and developmental discoveries from the West. We go back full circle to the East to apply these insights to the seven Chakras. They all have gross, subtle, and causal “energies”, manifest in the four dimensions of our being (the I, we, it and its), and have feminine and masculine polarities. Each Chakra can be open, leaking, neutral, closed, arrested, giving, or receiving in any of these dimensions in healthy and unhealthy ways. To intimately relate and co-create with a partner, it is important that we balance and harmonize all seven chakras in healthy ways.
