A good strategy is to first accept the situation that you are in, no matter what it may be. There is no need to label it good or bad. It is what it is. Take a few deep breaths and feel into the aliveness of your body. No matter what your situation and fears may be, appreciate and be grateful that you are alive in this very moment. 

Once you become calm, assess if the problem or uncertainty is inside or outside of your circle of influence. Next, realise that you always have the freedom to choose your response inside your circle of influence and never outside of it. Sit down and make a list of all the possible options that you have to either change the situation, to leave it, or to surrender to it. Some solutions will be at the same level of thinking you were at when you created the problem. These are the actions you can take immediately. Other solutions may require a whole new level of thinking or consciousness. The latter often requires that you consult with someone at a higher altitude who can support and guide you in this transformation. In this way, problems and uncertainty often are opportunities to further learn, heal, grow and awaken. There are countless stories, probably in your own life, that show that major challenges turned out to be the greatest blessings in our lives.
